The Si or Silvering gene in rabbits
The silvering gene creates a unique look in rabbits where white tipped hairs are evenly dispersed amongst regularly colored hairs. The appearance created is called silvering. Silvering can be found in several breeds including the Silver Fox, Champagne D’Argent and Creme D’Argent in the United States. It is also a gene seen in Argente Bruns and Enderby Island Rabbits.

Making rabbit manure tea to nourish your garden
We store our rabbit manure in sealed 5 gallon buckets and then till it into the garden during our fall cleanup, this lets it break down into the soil, adding all of the beneficial nutrients. When its time for spring planting, we prepare the manure tea, adding it to the trenches & holes along with the seeds. We don't use any other forms of fertilizer.
